1 General information on data protection
The protection of your personal data is particularly important to us. For this reason, we process your personal data exclusively in accordance with the relevant legal provisions of the DSGVO, the DSG 2000 and the TKG 2003.
- personal data
Personal data is information with which you can be personally identified or which makes you identifiable. This includes, for example, your name, date of birth, gender, address, telephone number, email address, etc.
- collection and processing of personal data
o General
Your personal data will only be processed by us if either their storage is necessary for technical reasons or if you voluntarily entrust us with your personal data for specific purposes. Your personal data will only be used to the extent necessary to fulfil the respective purpose and/or as required or permitted by law.
– Use of data
Below you will find a comprehensive overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website and use our webshop, as well as the most important aspects of data processing.
– Calling up the website
Each time you visit our website, our website records your IP address, your click behaviour, the start and end of the session for the duration of the session, the browser used and its version, the operating system used to access the website, any referrer page, your Internet provider and similar data/information that is necessary to maintain the website accordingly (in particular data/information required to defend against hacker attacks).
We also use this data to correct errors on our website, to improve user-friendliness and to increase the effectiveness of our services.
The storage of this data is technically necessary and therefore also compliant with data protection regulations. We do not process this data in any other way, unless otherwise stipulated below.
– Registration and creation of a profile for the webshop
When using our webshop, the following personal data in particular are processed: First name, last name, e-mail address, gender, date of birth, address, payment data, telephone number and current location.
When using our webshop, the purpose of processing your personal data is the technical operation of our webshop, the use of our services (in particular for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures such as credit checks, the processing of orders and payments and the advertising of products that may be of interest to you), the ongoing information about current news (e.g. by newsletter or e-mail) and the administration of your profile (in particular to provide you with an overview of your previous orders).
– Contacting us (booking an appointment)
If you contact us using the form provided for this purpose on our website, by e-mail, by telephone, by post or by other means of telecommunication, the personal data you provide (first name, surname, e-mail, telephone number and message) will be stored by us for 6 months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The provision of this personal data is necessary for the processing and answering of your enquiry. Without the provision of this personal data, we will not be able to answer your enquiry or, at best, only to a limited extent. This personal data will not be passed on without your consent.
– Newsletter
You will only receive promotional information (newsletters, e-mails, etc.) from us with your consent or on the basis of legal permission. Within the scope of the newsletter registration, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure: After registration, you will first receive an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided. Only after confirmation of this e-mail (e.g. by clicking on a confirmation link) will your registration become effective. We log the registration in order to be able to meet our verification obligations (in particular your email address and the time of registration).
If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or at
office@alphacomx.com
or directly in your customer account.
– Advertising, market and opinion research
Your personal data will only be used for product-specific surveys and marketing activities if you give your consent in advance or if legal regulations allow it and you have not objected to this. The use of data for the purposes of advertising, market research and opinion polling is carried out in accordance with legal regulations.
The level of data protection in third countries may be lower than in Austria. For this reason, your personal data will only be transferred to third countries if the EU Commission has decided that this country has an adequate level of data protection or other suitable data protection guarantees (concluded standard contractual clauses) are in place.
- your rights
You are entitled to the rights of information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection in accordance with the provisions of data protection law. Please address your questions/applications/suggestions in this regard with proof of your identity by e-mail to
office@alphacomx.com
or by post to the address given in the imprint. We must generally respond to or comply with your request within one month.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights are or have been violated in any other way, you can also complain to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna.
- deletion of personal data
We will not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations, to defend against any liability claims and to end any legal disputes in which the personal data is needed as evidence. If a contract is concluded via our webshop, your data will also be stored until the expiry of the tax law retention obligation of seven years.
If you register in our webshop and you have provided personal data, we will generally store it until four years after your last contact with us (last use of the profile), unless you revoke your consent before then (deletion of the profile). The data transmitted via our communication field will be deleted after twelve months so that neither the:the transmitter nor we can access this information.
- data security
The data entered via our website or our webshop is on the one hand stored locally on our devices and on the other hand transmitted to and also stored by our server provider Hetzner Online GmbH, DE-91710 Gunzenhausen, Industriestrasse 25.
We have implemented technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised, illegal or accidental access, loss, processing, use and manipulation. Your data is protected by a secure server. The SSL security software we use protects your personal data during transmission. You can recognise the encrypted connection by the address line “https://”.
Our security measures are constantly being developed to protect your data. Notwithstanding these security measures, illegal interventions by third parties (through hacking, malware, etc.) cannot be completely ruled out. For this reason, we accept no liability for the dissemination of data due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or in the event of unlawful access to data by third parties.
- transfer of data to third parties and transfer of data abroad
Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties in accordance with data protection regulations, namely if you have consented to the forwarding of your data or if this is necessary for the processing of the contract or for the fulfilment of legal obligations. It may also be necessary to pass on your data for the purpose of preventing misuse (e.g. credit card misuse). The service providers we may use will only receive your personal data in order to be able to process the contracts concluded with you. Our service providers may only use your data to fulfil their tasks. We also ensure that our service providers comply with data protection regulations.
- disclosure of data breach notification
We always endeavour to identify data leaks. We will immediately report any data breaches to you and/or the relevant supervisory authority, disclosing the data concerned.
9 Right of objection
You may object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes at any time.
You also have the right to object to any further processing of your personal data. In such a case, we will no longer process your data unless there are compelling and legitimate reasons for further processing.
You can exercise your right of objection on our homepage or by letter.

– Use of cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies in several places on our website and in our webshop to make our services more effective and user-friendly. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are stored on your terminal device and saved by your browser or your terminal device. Cookies are used to process certain personal data. This enables us to recognise you as a user when a new connection is established between our website or our webshop and your device. This also allows us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our website and webshop. The content of the cookies used is limited to an identification number that does not allow the person to be identified.
You can also use our website and webshop without cookies and can specify this in your browser settings. For certain services, however, a login is required, which will not work without authentication cookies.
– Cookies
With your express consent, cookies are used on our website and in our webshop. With the help of cookies, our offer can be made more user-friendly, more attractive and altogether safer. Cookies are small data records that can be stored on your terminal device. In this sense, a cookie is a small local text file that assigns a specific identity consisting of numbers and letters to your end device.
Cookies that are stored on your terminal device when you visit our website or our webshop can be set either directly by us or by third parties (third-party cookies). Such data is usually encrypted, which is why it cannot be read by third parties who have access to the cookie folder of your device. Cookies always contain the following information: (i) cookie name, (ii) name of the server from which the cookie originates, (iii) identification number of the cookie and (iv) an end date after which the cookie is automatically deleted.
Cookies have different functions and can be differentiated as follows:
- – Necessary/essential cookies: Necessary cookies are required for the operation of the website and are necessary to navigate on a website and to be able to use it fully. Cookies that are absolutely necessary for a website for other reasons, e.g. to be able to provide services against an order, are also included. Necessary cookies are always first-party cookies. They can only be deactivated in the settings of your browser if you reject all cookies without exception and are also used legally on our website without obtaining prior consent.
- – Functionality cookies: These are helpful for the use of websites and their functions (e.g. for storing user settings/data during registration). The information collected by functionality cookies relates exclusively to the website you are visiting, no information about your surfing behaviour is collected (first-party cookies). Such information is normally anonymised. The use of these cookies requires your prior express consent. These cookies can be deactivated by setting your browser accordingly.
- – Performance cookies: These cookies are used to collect information about user behaviour on websites (e.g. country and region of access, duration and frequency, order of pages visited, search terms used, movements of the mouse, etc). This enables website content to be adapted to individual user needs. They do not allow the respective user to be traced. The use of these cookies requires your prior express consent. These cookies can be deactivated by setting your browser accordingly.
- – Tracking cookies: Such cookies are used to analyse your usage behaviour and personalised advertising. They are usually third-party cookies. The use of these cookies requires your prior express consent. These cookies can be deactivated by setting your browser accordingly. If you have given us consent to use these cookies, they will be placed on your terminal device by the third-party provider when you access our website.
- – Session cookies: These cookies are automatically deleted after the end of your current browser session (e.g. cookies that allow you to remain logged in to your password-protected customer account while navigating websites).
- – Permanent cookies: These cookies remain stored on your end device until a pre-defined expiry date or until they are manually removed. They enable, for example, user tracking across sessions.
- – First-party cookies: These cookies are used and set by the website operator itself. They are not made accessible by browsers across domains, which is why the user can only be recognised by the website from which the cookie originates.
- – Third-party cookies: Such cookies are not set by the website operator itself, but by third parties when a website is called up. This can concern information about different page views as well as the frequency of the same.
When you access our website and our webshop, no cookies are used by default, with the exception of necessary cookies. However, you can explicitly allow the use of cookies by selecting or deselecting the respective cookies in the cookie declaration displayed when you call up our website. By clicking the “Confirm” button, you accept your settings. Without adjusting your settings, you only confirm that you do not want cookies to be used. You have the option of adjusting your browser settings so that cookies are either generally rejected or only certain types are permitted. However, changing the cookie setting may mean that some websites can no longer be used to their full extent. You can find the setting options for the most common browsers under the following links:

We would like to point out that the use of Google Analytics may also result in the transfer of data to the parent company of Google Ireland, Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA (Google LLC). According to a decision of the ECJ, the USA does not have an adequate level of data protection with regard to data transfers, which is associated with various risks for the legality and security of data processing. Google therefore uses so-called standard contractual clauses (Art 46 (2) and (3) DSGVO). These are templates provided by the EU Commission to ensure that your data comply with the European level of data protection even if this data is transferred to and stored in third countries. Through these clauses, Google undertakes to comply with the European level of data protection when processing your data. See Google’s standard contractual clauses:

Woocommerce
We have implemented the open source online shop system WooCommerce on our webshop. This tool is based on the CMS WordPress, a subsidiary of Automattic Inc. (60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA). In the process, data is sent to Automattic, stored and processed. We use Woocommerce to be able to offer our products to our users via our webshop in the best possible way. Woocommerce enables simple and easy access to our offer. Our legitimate interest lies in the maintenance, operation and design of our webshop.
In this sense, Automattic acts as our processor, with whom we have concluded a processing contract.
When using our webshop, various data are processed by Woocommerce. Information entered by our users in a text field of our webshop may be processed by WooCommerce or Automattic: These are first name, last name, address, email, phone number, address and payment data. Automattic may also subsequently use this information for its own marketing campaigns In addition, Automattic also automatically collects the following data in so-called server log files: IP address, browser information, default language setting and date and time of web access.
WooCommerce also sets cookies in your browser and uses technologies such as pixel tags (web beacons) to clearly identify you as a user and offer you customised advertising. In doing so, Woocommerce uses different cookies that are set depending on the user action. The following cookies can be used:

Purpose: This cookie contains a unique identifier for you so that the shopping cart data can be found in the database.
Expiry date: after 2 days
In the absence of a legal obligation concerning the storage of data for a longer period of time, Woocommerce deletes the data when they are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were stored. Server log files are deleted after approximately 30 days. Until then, Automattic uses the data to analyse the traffic on its own websites and to fix possible problems. The data is stored on Automattic’s American servers.
