The protection of your personal data is particularly important to us. For this reason, we process your personal data exclusively in accordance with the relevant legal provisions of the DSGVO, the DSG 2000 and the TKG 2003.

– Calling up the website

Each time you visit our website, our website records your IP address, your click behaviour, the start and end of the session for the duration of the session, the browser used and its version, the operating system used to access the website, any referrer page, your Internet provider and similar data/information that is necessary to maintain the website accordingly (in particular data/information required to defend against hacker attacks).

We also use this data to correct errors on our website, to improve user-friendliness and to increase the effectiveness of our services.

The storage of this data is technically necessary and therefore also compliant with data protection regulations. We do not process this data in any other way, unless otherwise stipulated below.

– Registration and creation of a profile for the webshop

When using our webshop, the following personal data in particular are processed: First name, last name, e-mail address, gender, date of birth, address, payment data, telephone number and current location.

When using our webshop, the purpose of processing your personal data is the technical operation of our webshop, the use of our services (in particular for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures such as credit checks, the processing of orders and payments and the advertising of products that may be of interest to you), the ongoing information about current news (e.g. by newsletter or e-mail) and the administration of your profile (in particular to provide you with an overview of your previous orders).

– Contacting us (booking an appointment)

If you contact us using the form provided for this purpose on our website, by e-mail, by telephone, by post or by other means of telecommunication, the personal data you provide (first name, surname, e-mail, telephone number and message) will be stored by us for 6 months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The provision of this personal data is necessary for the processing and answering of your enquiry. Without the provision of this personal data, we will not be able to answer your enquiry or, at best, only to a limited extent. This personal data will not be passed on without your consent.

– Newsletter

You will only receive promotional information (newsletters, e-mails, etc.) from us with your consent or on the basis of legal permission. Within the scope of the newsletter registration, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure: After registration, you will first receive an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided. Only after confirmation of this e-mail (e.g. by clicking on a confirmation link) will your registration become effective. We log the registration in order to be able to meet our verification obligations (in particular your email address and the time of registration).

  1. deletion of personal data

We will not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations, to defend against any liability claims and to end any legal disputes in which the personal data is needed as evidence. If a contract is concluded via our webshop, your data will also be stored until the expiry of the tax law retention obligation of seven years.

If you register in our webshop and you have provided personal data, we will generally store it until four years after your last contact with us (last use of the profile), unless you revoke your consent before then (deletion of the profile). The data transmitted via our communication field will be deleted after twelve months so that neither the:the transmitter nor we can access this information.

For this reason, we accept no liability for the dissemination of data due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or in the event of unlawful access to data by third parties.

We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymisation activated. In this case, your IP address is shortened so that all data is collected anonymously. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server and shortened there. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data.

Woocommerce

We have implemented the open source online shop system WooCommerce on our webshop. This tool is based on the CMS WordPress, a subsidiary of Automattic Inc. (60 29th Street #343, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA). In the process, data is sent to Automattic, stored and processed. We use Woocommerce to be able to offer our products to our users via our webshop in the best possible way. Woocommerce enables simple and easy access to our offer. Our legitimate interest lies in the maintenance, operation and design of our webshop.

In this sense, Automattic acts as our processor, with whom we have concluded a processing contract.

When using our webshop, various data are processed by Woocommerce. Information entered by our users in a text field of our webshop may be processed by WooCommerce or Automattic: These are first name, last name, address, email, phone number, address and payment data. Automattic may also subsequently use this information for its own marketing campaigns In addition, Automattic also automatically collects the following data in so-called server log files: IP address, browser information, default language setting and date and time of web access.

WooCommerce also sets cookies in your browser and uses technologies such as pixel tags (web beacons) to clearly identify you as a user and offer you customised advertising. In doing so, Woocommerce uses different cookies that are set depending on the user action. The following cookies can be used:

In the absence of a legal obligation concerning the storage of data for a longer period of time, Woocommerce deletes the data when they are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were stored. Server log files are deleted after approximately 30 days. Until then, Automattic uses the data to analyse the traffic on its own websites and to fix possible problems. The data is stored on Automattic’s American servers.

You can individually manage, delete or deactivate cookies in your browser (see point 10.3 in detail).  However, deactivated or deleted cookies can have possible negative effects on the functions of our Woocommerce online shop.

Hotjar

We use the Hotjar service provided by Hotjar Limited, Level 2, St Julian’s Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian’s STJ 1000, Malta. This is used to statistically analyse visitor data in order to analyse behaviour and feedback from our users through analytics and feedback tools. For this purpose, we receive reports and visual representations from Hotjar that show us where and how you are on our site. Personal data is automatically anonymised and does not reach Hotjar’s servers. This helps us to provide you with a better user experience and service. On the one hand, Hotjar provides a good analysis about online behaviour and on the other hand, we also get good feedback about the quality of our website. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and operation of our website.

In this sense, Hotjar Limited acts as our processor, with whom we have concluded a processing contract.

When you access our website or our webshop, the following personal data is processed after your consent: IP address of your computer (collected and stored in an anonymous format), screen size, browser info (which browser, version, etc), your location (but only country), your preferred language setting, visited web pages (sub-pages) and date and time of access to one of our sub-pages (web pages). In addition, Hotjar also stores cookies that are placed on your computer (in the browser). No personal data is collected in these. In principle, Hotjar does not pass on any collected data to third parties; however, it is sometimes necessary to share data with Amazon Web Services: in this case, parts of your data are stored on their servers. However, Amazon is subject to a non-disclosure agreement in this regard.
